ASSISTANT·E DE CAMPAGNES - FRANCE

Lancé en septembre 2015, WeMove Europe est un mouvement inspiré du travail exceptionnel réalisé par Campact.de en Allemagne ou 38Degrees.org.uk au Royaume-Uni.

L’objectif de WeMove Europe est de « répondre à la crise que traverse la démocratie européenne à travers des campagnes créatives de lobbying en ligne ». Fort de plus de 900 000 membres, WeMove Europe cherche aujourd’hui à soutenir sa forte croissance et à renforcer sa communauté en France, en recrutant un·e Assisant·e de Campagnes - France.

Elle/il rejoindra une équipe de treize militants engagés et répartis sur tout le territoire européen, notamment en France, en Espagne, en Italie, en Allemagne, en Belgique, en Pologne, en Roumanie et en Slovénie.

The Role

You are in charge of French member communication and social media.

Your tasks will include :

  • Communicating our ideas and campaigns on social media
  • Responding to questions and requests of members sent by email or on social media.
  • Support setting up online campaigns 
  • Support managing our French database using CiviCRM
  • Support other campaign activities such as research, partner relations, offline actions
  • Support organisational growth through campaign promotion in French
  • Support policy monitoring and research on France but also including EU-wide processes & identification of campaign opportunities

About you

You are a student who dreams of working in the sector. You are a brilliant communicator with outstanding writing skills, you are tech savvy and able to learn quickly how to use our online tools, you are a passionate and effective agent for political change.

You :

  • have a working knowledge of English
  • have outstanding writing skills in French
  • have experience working with social media in a professional context
  • have experience with political/issue campaigning
  • are quick to understand new software and online tools
  • are happy to work in an exciting “startup” environment, with all its opportunities and uncertainties
  • are open to working in an intercultural, decentralised team
  • look forward to working in a team where we all strive towards learning from each other in order to have the biggest possible impact

  • Statistics / Data analytics
  • Well networked nationally
  • Online campaigning
  • Additional European languages
  • Street actions & protests

Terms and conditions

15h a week for an initial contract duration of 6 months, starting in October/November. Please apply by October 1st, 2018, 9am.

Based in France. As we are building a virtual organisation, this position will be based at a home office or in a co-working space.

The salary for this position will be just above French minimum wage 9,98€ an hour gross.
