About the Role

As the Digital Organiserfor our French-speaking community, you will play a central role in managing and engaging with our vibrant audience. Your responsibilities will include:- Communicating with our community through various channels, including email, social media, and more.
- Proofreading and occasionally translating content to ensure clear communication.
- Assisting in data analysis and user journey improvements to enhance the overall community experience.
- Creating creative and compelling social media content to engage and inspire our audience.
- Setting up tech campaigns and mass mailings to our members.
- Setting up ads on social media
- Contributing to our strategy development, involving tasks like editing, translation, design, and community management with the help of volunteers.
About You - Who are we looking for?
We seek someone excited about making a positive impact who can thrive in a multicultural, multilingual environment. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:- Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and skills.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to explain complex ideas in a simple manner.
- Results-driven and eager to gather and analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in a decentralized team and willing to travel occasionally within Europe.
While we understand that no one possesses all these skills and experiences, we would encourage that you will bring 2 or 3 of the following to our team:- Community management and database management experience.
- Familiarity with email list management and social media usage for movements/organizations.
- Experience working with volunteers/activists or organizing street actions & protests.
- Graphic design capabilities.

We work with staff in 10 countries who connect digitally every day and in person periodically.- Working time: Part-time position, 25 hours/week, over 5 days.
- Contract conditions: 6-month- temporary position with a view to a permanent contract.
- Location: Remotely within France or Brussels.
- Benefits: 30 vacation days annually on a full-time basis, a home office setup and co-working space of your choice, a training budget, regular team calls, and a full-week retreat in person with the whole team.
- Salary range: 22,000 euro - 25,000 euro - Those are estimates indexed to local living costs. Final calculations are based on city living cost indexes and might differ slightly depending on location.

- Location: Remote within Belgium
WeMove Europe is looking for a Community Organiser to support and coordinate the work of our community in Belgium specifically and a wider coalition engaged in the 2024 European Parliament elections.
The role will focus on delivering election-related Get Out To Vote activities in Belgium ahead of the 2024 elections, testing offline and online mobilization tactics in development with the Coordinator, bringing network people together to innovate and collaborate, and supporting offline mobilization and organizing.
Our ideal candidate is a well-connected, dynamic self-starter who can work independently and as part of a wider team of EU-based campaigners.
Your responsibilities will include:- Implement a strategy, and adapt it depending on evolving context, for how we approach Get Out The Vote work in Belgium
- Identifying influencers with whom we could strategically partner, in French and Flemish language, in collaboration with social media consultant
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups, organisations, and influencers
- Mobilising young people and first-time voters (16-17 year olds) by raising awareness on the importance of voting in the European elections through digital campaigns and offline mobilisation
- Coordinate the translation of campaign content into French and Flemish digital campaigns and events to promote voter engagement
- Any other tasks that are required to meet the goals of our strategy in Belgium.
About You - Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who brings these qualities to the table:
- More than 2 years experience in digital campaigning for progressive organizations.
- Familiarity with digital campaigning methods and tactics, including how to leverage email, social media, and other tools to shift a target
- Demonstrated ability to support campaigners and organizers to excel in their own work
- Ability to rapidly identify emerging strategic opportunities for mass civic engagement to create change
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and either French or NL.
- Demonstrated empathy, humility, self-awareness and critical reflection
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity
Additional skills that would make a candidate stand out:- Language fluency in one or more non-English languages
- Experience in framing and messaging development
- Experience or interest in technology and digital innovation
- Experience supporting international networked organizations or communities
