What happens every summer in the Faroe Islands, between the United Kingdom and Iceland, not only amounts to torture, it is also illegal, which means we can stop it. Year after year outraged citizens stage protests and set up petitions - but as they are not connected they don’t come across as a loud, single, European voice.
Whales need our community. Together as We Move Europe we can appeal to the Council of Europe to enforce the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife in the Faroe Islands, and deliver justice at sea.
