Cerchiamo un Assistente alle Campagne per supportare il lavoro del Campaigner in Italia. Il lavoro è flessibile - richiede un impegno di circa 15 ore a settimana, tuttavia, in alcuni periodi l'impegno richiesto potrebbe essere maggiore. Il lavoro è a Bologna e la maggior parte del lavoro si svolge da casa. About us

We are a recently launched, European online campaigning organisation.

Our idea is to respond to the crisis of European democracy with creative online campaigning. Having launched in September 2015 with great success (more than 600 000 members so far), we are now focused on continuing our fast growth – and we are looking for a campaign assistant to support our work in Italy.

You would be joining a team of nine dedicated activists located all over Europe e.g. France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, UK, Belgium and Slovenia.

You would be based in Bologna, Italy.

About the role

You are in charge of Italian member communication and social media.

Your tasks will include

  • Communicating our ideas and campaigns on social media
  • Responding to questions and requests of members sent by email or on social media.
  • Support setting up online campaigns using drupal
  • Support managing our Italian database using CiviCRM
  • Support other campaign activities such as research, partner relations, offline actions
  • Support organisational growth through campaign promotion in Italy
  • Support policy monitoring and research on Italy but also including EU-wide processes & identification of campaign opportunities

About you

You are a brilliant communicator with outstanding writing skills, you are tech savy and able to learn quickly how to use our online tools, you are a passionate and effective agent for political change.

You:

  • have a working knowledge of English
  • have outstanding writing skills in Italian
  • have experience working with social media in a professional context
  • have experience with political/issue campaigning
  • are quick to understand new software and online tools
  • are happy to work in an exciting “startup” environment, with all its opportunities and uncertainties
  • are open to working in an intercultural, decentralised team
  • look forward to working in a team where we all strive towards learning from each other in order to have the biggest possible impact

Ideally you have a strong understanding of one or more other European countries, gained from personal or professional experience.

Terms and conditions

  • approx. 15h a week for an initial contract duration of 6 months, starting as soon as possible.
  • As we are building a virtual organisation, this position will be based at a home office or from a co-working space.
  • The salary for this position will be €10,50/hour (gross).

Short-listed candidates will be asked to complete a 1.5 hour written assessment task on 26 April. This can be done online. In person interviews for the position will take place on 28 and 29 April.
